Sragen Regency is very rich of cultural and traditional Javanese heritages which still strongly live in society. These heritages can be unique and interesting tourists attractions. Some of them are:
1.Traditional Dances and Performances
There are some traditional dancesand performances which represent the original style of Sragen’sculture. Some of them are usually held on the special occasions.For example: Bedoyo Sukowati, Tayub, Rodhat, shadow puppet performance (the combinations of Javanese traditional music‘gamelan”, traditional songs, and puppet show “wayang”)
2. Traditional Music Instruments
Sragen has also special music instruments which must be ear catching for the foreigners for their beautiful and smooth rhythm,such as gamelan and kothekan lesung
